Quick Vision, China Charity Federaion's aid project for children with amblyopia, was launched yesterday.
The project, which is cooperated by China Charity Federation and Fushi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd, will provide free treatment to more than 20,000 children with amblyopia in poverty-stricken areas within five years. Fushi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd, one of China's leading ophthalmic device providers, has donated medical equipment worth 32 million yuan ($4.5 million) to the project. China has 12 to 15 million children with amblyopia, which can be cured after timely treatment.
CCF's president Mr. Fan Baojun, vice president Ms. Peng Yu, vice president Mr. Deng Tongshan, secretary-general Mr. Liu Guolin attended the ceremony.
