China Charity Federation (CCF) is actively involved in raising money and building or rebuilding Welfare Institutions for Old Folks and Honorary Houses for Demobilized Old Army Men. CCF also helps to equip these places with resident medical care and rehabilitation facilities. CCF gives both living allowance subsidies and medical care to the seniors, and helps old folks with financial problems to have cataract surgery.

The Sunset Project
   The Sunset Project is a social commonwealth project initiated and organized by China Charity Federation. Its basic mission may be stated as “supporting my own elders, and also helping others”. The Sunset Project has raised money extensively in various ways from within China and from abroad, thereby helping tens of thousands of elders with pension living, housing, and health services.
The Sunset Project includes the following items,

1. Promoting digital long-distance health monitoring systems.

2. Establishing China Charity Federation “Beautiful Sunset” elderly apartments at international quality standards.

3. Building China Charity Federation Loving Hospitals.

4. Establishing transportation of goods and delivery centers.

5. Set up China Charity Federation Sunset Project Special Fund.

   Once the Sunset Project is started, all charity money donated to China Charity Federation for the Sunset Project will be put into the Sunset Project Special Fund. In according with the donors’ directions, China Charity Federation will initially use the donated money to provide digital long-distance health monitoring system or to build China Charity Loving Hospitals.
